Rap is a style of vocalizing and hip hop is a musical genre. Hip hop and rap are often used interchangeably though. Grime and drill are two sub genres within hip hop. I’m not an expert on the two sub genres beyond that but you can just listen to drill beats vs grime beats vs classic hip hop and there’s definitely a noticeable difference. Hip Hop is kind of the inbetween. Artists who incorporate multiple genres, like rap or RnB or pop, but aren't strictly in those genres. Most rap is hip hop. Think of like Kanye West, or The Weeknd. There's a lot of similarity between the two, and people often use the terms as synonyms, but they aren't. RnB is like slower.
