We decided to fly the non-stop Austrian airlines flight from Dulles to Vienna rather than united' flight to Munich with a connecting flight to Vienna. Good move, it cost less and the service was outstanding. 767 fitted out 1-2-1 in business. Huge seat complex a little difficult to figure out (but attendant easily helped various times).

My disappointment meals served in economy class.food tray is so small as everything on tray,mine mill served in triangle tray,odd shape and to small.Just before arriving to Vienna so called breakfast is served frozing cold no good at all.Busniss class food is much better as you order it from chef.

Bottom line. Austrian Airlines is improving its catering on long haul flights as of mid-June 2023, with the introduction of its “Tastefully Austrian” concept. The changes in business class should be substantial, and at least match the product that was available pre-pandemic. This will make Austrian’s soft product even better.
