I usually do HH right before entering the strip for the first time (RP excuse is to make the money needed to get in), DM omw or back from seeing Ceaser to use chip, OWB whenever I feel like it before near the end of the game and LR right before the battle of the Dam. xNVSE / NVSE. Yukichigai Unofficial Patch. My Other Mods. Pip-Porter (Pairs well with this mod.) FAE - Full and Empty. Powered Pip-Pocket. Smooth Skipper. Wakey Wakey. No more DLC quests or popups, plus the world is restored to how it was prior to DLC.
I disagree. Just make a save for when you get to the point if no return and have to pick a faction. You can go through all 4 dlc without ever going to new Vegas or entering the lucky 36 or any of the casinos . So you beat the dlcs. Meet the boomers, and do other side quests like Jason brights quest, the mr fantastic quest, then you go to Vegas.
Adam Over Jul 5, 2015 @ 11:40pm. DLC - Play them BEFORE Hoover Dam Battle. Just a heads up to any other new players. Make sure to explore and go through the DLC before you do the final Dam mission. You won't be able to continue afterwards. It seems we have to do as much as we can/want before the final Choice. So bare that in mind.
Hello, all. I'm re-playing New Vegas for the first time in ages, and want to get a good playthrough of the main game and DLC. I found the following advice for what level to play the DLC and what order, but thought I should check if anyone has any advice either differing from this, or adding to this (eg do quest xx before DLC yy). Lonesome Road is great because if you play it at the end it's like a final test for how good your build is. 2. kalysti • 2 yr. ago. Lonesome Road is a good challenge DLC, but Dead Money and Old World Blues are both better, generally speaking. At 13, you should be perfectly fine starting Honest Hearts. 10 is the recommended lvl to start. The exp you get should put you up to start old world blues after that. Thank you. it really doesn't matter i done old world blues at level 2 tough as fuck but do able also its on very hard. Tbh all 4 DLC of NV has their ups and downs, such as Honest Hearts having a lot of fetch quests, but the backstory of a certain character is incredibly awesome. Dead Money has good atmosphere and characters but it ramps up the difficulty, especially in Hardcore mode. First, the obvious, save immediatley before talking to Jed Masterson or, failing that, as soon as you emerge from the northern passage into the Zion canyon lands. These saves will spare you a lot of grief if you make either of the following two mistakes. If you play primarily in first-person as I do, be very careful peering over the edge of cliffs. Falling in Fallout: New Vegas can be fatal Sort by: Night751975. • 2 yr. ago. Not sure I got a disk to download dlc when I bought the game a year back when you work it out you need to play lonesome road elite riot gear can be found and is the best armor in the game. [deleted] I generally play Honest Hearts first, at level 13-14, just after getting into New Vegas and finishing the business with Benny, mainly because it doesn't have a place in the other DLC's story arch, and is essentially filler, and because it's got some cool weapons and armor that are definitely worth getting. I usually do, but I might not have that time. 8 years ago. #5 KillEm_Dafoe. I would recommend saving them all until the end or near the end of the main story, and then playing them in order of release. Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road, in that order. I see it as the rest. - Honest Hearts is the easiest DLC and without minimum character level. - Old World Blues is recomment as second DLC, since you get at least the following things after it: A own home with shop, auto-doc, infinite fresh water, 2 implantats, new body perks, 3 awesome energy weapons, a smart armor and a hat with health-regeneration. That being said, the other commenters who said that you should at least get to the Strip of New Vegas first are 100% correct. The DLC will kick your ass otherwise. The best way to get all the dlcs is to get FNV the ultimate addition. That is what I did. First time I played dead money was so stressful. iXC0nkc.
