MentalFracture. • 6 yr. ago. When you start a takedown, the sidearm takedown prompt will appear. Press the 'aim weapon' button and you will automatically aim your pistol at the nearest enemy. Then press the 'fire weapon' button. I agree it's kinda poorly explained in-game, but once you get it down it more immersive than in previous games.
