Or with the difference in price between the 16-35mm 2.8 vs f4, you could buy the samyang 14mm and the 16-35mm f4 for a cheaper price than the single 2.8. Probably a better idea, I'll go with the f/4 and the rokinon /samyang. I use the 16-35 2.8 II on a mk III body and it's pretty good for astrophotography but I'm planning on switching soon to 16-35mm f/4L IS at f/5.6 @ 16 mm, 8s, ISO 100, No Flash.
